About the Role
Insulet Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Controls intern to join our Internal Controls Department. This intern will assist in ensuring that Insulet adheres to SOX requirements and maintains robust internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the documentation and testing of internal controls over financial reporting
- Support the preparation and review of SOX compliance documentation
- Participate in the evaluation of control deficiencies and the development of remediation plans
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management and external auditors
- Conduct research on SOX-related topics
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting / Finance or Systems/Technology
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
- Hybrid work model; requires as-needed travel to the corporate headquarters (Acton, MA)
- Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship needs.
