Live Photo Collection Study

About the Role

TELUS Digital AI Community is launching a data collection study and is looking for speakers of Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu to capture and submit Live Photos of handwritten and printed text in their respective languages using their smartphones. This is a work-from-home opportunity, allowing participants to work on their own schedule from anywhere in India. The role involves contributing to global AI research.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and submit Live Photos of handwritten and printed text in your language.
• Ensure submitted data and its content meet the data requirements established in project instructions.
• Collect data in Live Photo format using a pre-approved mobile device.
• Ensure all text and materials submitted within Live Photos are original and unique.
• No duplicate submissions will be accepted.
• No synthetic or AI-generated data will be accepted.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Live Photo submission capability via smartphone.
• Pre-approved mobile device for data collection.
• Computer access.
• Broadband internet access.
• Relevant software access.

Qualifications

• Speaker of Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, or Urdu.
• Legally allowed to work in India.
• Ability to understand instructions in English.
• Good camera skills.
• Independent work skills.
• Adaptability.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.

Compensation

• Participants will be compensated for correctly submitted Live Photos approved by quality review.
• Payment will be processed after the Live Photo has been approved by quality review.
• Payments will be issued via Hyperwallet through the AI Community Manager Platform.
• Participants can choose PayPal, bank transfer, or Venmo as the payment method.
