About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Excavator Operator role based in Delhi, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to perform excavation, trenching, and earthmoving tasks according to project plans and safety guidelines.
• Maneuver the excavator, dig and level ground, load and unload materials.
• Assist with site preparation and backfilling.
• Conduct basic equipment inspections and report mechanical issues.
• Support routine maintenance to keep machinery in safe working condition.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other crew members to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excavator Operator license or certification for heavy equipment, as required by local regulations.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to read basic site plans.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in equipment operation and heavy equipment handling for construction and excavation work.
• Experience in excavation and trench work, including digging, grading, and earthmoving to project specifications.
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance, daily inspections, and safe operation checks on excavators.
• Knowledge of site safety practices, hazard awareness, and adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Prior experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar heavy machinery role in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members.
• Physical ability to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods and perform tasks on active construction sites.
