About the Role
Kingdum By Nishka is seeking a Fashion Assistant for a short-term, project-based role from November 15 to December 20, 2026, in Mumbai. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals interested in fashion and the operational aspects of a growing brand. Applicants must be based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with styling and outfit preparation for shoots.
- Helping with fittings, steaming, dressing, and styling changes.
- Organizing garments, accessories, and samples.
- Assisting on set and maintaining looks throughout shoots.
- Supporting the setup and operations for approximately 1–2 pop-ups.
- Assisting with sales and customer interactions during pop-ups.
- Maintaining product displays and keeping the space organized.
- Helping with packing, unpacking, and movement of garments/products.
- Assisting with basic logistics and coordination for shoots, pop-ups, and other brand needs.
- Creating or editing simple Canva creatives and brand-related content.
- Helping with other day-to-day tasks as required.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong interest in fashion and styling, with a good eye for visual presentation and detail.
- Basic knowledge of Canva.
- Organized and comfortable with logistics and coordination.
- Proactive, reliable, and willing to take initiative.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Qualifications
- Fashion students, graduates, or candidates with relevant experience are welcome.
- Previous shoot, styling, retail, event, or fashion experience is a plus.
- Must be Mumbai-based.
Role Details
- Location: Mumbai
- Duration: November 15 – December 20, 2026
- Projects: Fashion shoots + approximately 1–2 pop-ups
- Tasks: Styling assistance, shoot assistance, pop-up support, sales, basic Canva work, logistics.
- Type: Short-term / project-based.
Note: This role is part of a two-person support team, with shared responsibilities. The schedule is project-based and flexible.
Additional Opportunity - Modeling
Kingdum is also looking for potential faces for upcoming campaign shoots. Applicants comfortable with modeling and available for the campaign shoot will have an added advantage. This is not a mandatory requirement.
