Sample Preparation Associate

About the Role

An Associate Scientist in Sample Preparation supports biological sample analysis by executing routine laboratory techniques, documenting procedures, and maintaining lab safety and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation tasks such as extractions and tissue processing.
• Prepare solutions, troubleshoot experiments, and document results following SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Identify and escalate performance issues or anomalies to senior staff.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with 6S standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Proficiency with pipetting, laboratory calculations, and routine procedures.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, safety protocols, and handling hazardous chemicals.
• Experience with laboratory automation or specialized equipment is desirable.
