Python Developer

About the Role

Join Data Eminence as a remote Python Developer. Contribute to developing scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using Python and modern development frameworks. Work on backend services, REST APIs, automation scripts, database integration, data-processing workflows, and application maintenance. This is a hands-on backend development role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Build RESTful APIs using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Implement application logic and backend functionality.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Python code.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Design database schemas and write optimized queries.
• Implement CRUD operations, validation, and data-processing workflows.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.
• Debug application errors and troubleshoot backend issues.
• Write unit tests and integration tests for application functionality.
• Optimize application performance and database operations.
• Work with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services.
• Assist with application deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, application features, and workflows.
• Explore AI-assisted tools to improve development, testing, and debugging processes.
• Stay updated with modern Python frameworks and backend development practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming and data structures.
• Knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Understanding of database integration and CRUD operations.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of authentication and application security.
• Understanding of debugging, exception handling, and testing.
• Familiarity with Postman or similar API-testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

Knowledge of Docker, Linux, or cloud deployment is a plus.

Exposure to modern Python technologies and AI-powered development tools.
