About the Role
As an Application Developer specializing in AWS Cloud Migration, you will utilize advanced knowledge of various migration and modernization tools to design and build migration delivery engagements. You will leverage your expertise in migration and modernization assessment, application code refactoring, and creating microservices to drive successful cloud migrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build migration delivery engagements through the installation, configuration, and optimization of various migration and modernization tools as per engagement requirements.
- Assess and refactor application code, including semantic and syntactical changes, to ensure optimal performance on the target cloud platform.
- Create microservices, APIs, and convert workloads into containers to drive the successful migration of applications to the cloud.
- Optimize application code refactoring, including optimization and performance parameters, to ensure high-performing applications on the cloud platform.
- Work with various AWS tools, including AWS Beanstalk, AWS Cloud9, AWS CodeStar, and AWS Command Line Interface, to support cloud migration efforts.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Exposure to migration and modernization tools, including installation, configuration, and optimization for engagement requirements.
- Experience working with migration and modernization assessment and design, with a focus on target cloud platforms.
- Exposure to application code refactoring, including semantic and syntactical changes, optimization, and performance parameters.
- Experience working with creating microservices, APIs, and converting workloads into containers for cloud migration.
- Exposure to various AWS tools, including AWS Beanstalk, AWS Cloud9, AWS CodeStar, and AWS Command Line Interface, to support cloud migration efforts.
