About the Role
Tsaaro People Consulting is seeking a Legal Intern to work closely with the finance and accounts teams, supporting day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance activities. This is a 6-month, in-office internship offering hands-on industry exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Review & Drafting: Review and draft NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and vendor agreements. This includes risk identification, redlining, and basic drafting.
- Legal Research: Conduct research and interpret laws, regulations, and case law.
- Attention to Detail: Identify inconsistencies, missing clauses/definitions, key obligations, and commercial terms. Maintain version tracking.
- Communication: Draft professional legal/business emails and explain legal concepts in simple language.
- Documentation & Tracking: Maintain contract trackers, renewal/expiry tracking, and compliance/obligation trackers. Utilize MS Word, Track Changes, and comments.
Requirements
- Candidate must be in the final semester or a recent graduate.
- Mandatory: Willingness to work from office for the full internship duration.
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured environment.
