About the Role
The Data Analyst Trainee internship at MedTourEasy is a remote program focused on supporting data-driven decision-making across the CareMatrix platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with collecting, cleaning, and organizing healthcare data from various sources.
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Build and update dashboards and reports.
- Support data modeling tasks under supervision.
- Document findings in clear, concise formats for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate insights.
- Learn how data supports coordinated care, patient engagement, and operational improvements.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
- Knowledge of Statistics and experience applying statistical concepts to real-world data.
- Basic Data Modeling skills and an understanding of data structures or databases.
- Clear and effective Communication skills for presenting data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Interest in healthcare, healthtech, or care coordination and a willingness to learn domain-specific concepts is preferred.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
