About the Role
The Data Analyst Traineeship is a remote program focused on learning and supporting data-driven decision-making for healthcare and partner providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting, cleaning, and organizing datasets.
- Assisting in basic data analysis.
- Contributing to data modeling tasks under guidance from senior analysts.
- Preparing reports, dashboards, and visual summaries to communicate findings clearly to internal teams.
- Documenting analytical processes.
- Supporting ad-hoc research requests.
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their data needs and improve analytical outputs.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Analytical Skills
- Foundational Data Analytics capabilities
- Knowledge of Statistics and an understanding of quantitative methods
- Basic Data Modeling skills
- Clear Communication Skills
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, or analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or R) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and learn new tools and concepts quickly.
- Interest in healthcare analytics and global health systems is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
