About the Role
We are seeking highly proficient Hindi Bilingual Experts to contribute to an AI training project focused on advancing machine learning. This role involves evaluating audio content, assessing linguistic accuracy, and improving next-generation AI systems using your Hindi language expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to Hindi audio clips and evaluate speaker fluency, naturalness, and language accuracy.
- Assess pronunciation, intonation, accent, and overall linguistic authenticity.
- Identify subtle differences in spoken Hindi, including unnatural expressions and pronunciation patterns.
- Provide clear and detailed written feedback in English to support evaluation results.
- Document assessments with relevant explanations and linguistic justifications.
- Follow established evaluation guidelines and maintain consistency across tasks.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify linguistic requirements.
- Complete assigned audio evaluation tasks accurately and within deadlines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi, with natural fluency and clear pronunciation.
- Minimum B2-level English proficiency, with strong written communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of Hindi pronunciation, grammar, fluency, and conversational expressions.
- Strong listening skills and attention to linguistic detail.
- Ability to identify subtle differences in pronunciation, intonation, and natural speech.
- Ability to communicate observations and feedback clearly in English.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Background in linguistics, phonetics, voice specialization, music/audio engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in audio analysis, transcription, translation, or linguistic assessment.
- Familiarity with Hindi media, communications, or language teaching.
- Previous experience with AI training, data annotation, or language evaluation projects is an added advantage but not mandatory.
