About the Role

IKIDZ WHITEFIELD is seeking a full-time, on-site Preschool Teacher in Bengaluru. The role focuses on providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children, emphasizing age-appropriate learning through structured play, interactive activities, and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily lessons and activities that support early childhood learning, social-emotional development, and school readiness.
• Manage the classroom environment.
• Guide children through play-based and structured learning.
• Observe and document student progress.
• Maintain clear communication with families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the school team on curriculum implementation.
• Organize events and parent interactions.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and child-centered atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience teaching at Preschool or Kindergarten level.
• Ability to create effective Lesson Plans.
• Ability to contribute to Curriculum Development tailored to young children.
• Clear, compassionate Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and coworkers.
• Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage a classroom in a calm, organized manner.
• Experience with play-based learning methods and child-centered teaching approaches.
• Basic proficiency in using educational resources and simple technology tools in the classroom.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive environment and following school policies and child safety guidelines.
