About the Role

Raprocksrini is a growing music venture based in Chennai, focused on creating original compositions and live performances across contemporary and experimental styles. This is a full-time, on-site Musician role based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily rehearsal sessions.
• Contribute to composing and arranging new material.
• Prepare for studio recordings and live performances.
• Learn and refine set lists.
• Coordinate with other band members and production staff.
• Maintain instruments and equipment in performance-ready condition.
• Occasionally participate in promotional activities (e.g., social media content, video shoots, community events).
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure high-quality, cohesive performances and recordings.

Qualifications

• Strong performance skills on one or more instruments or vocals, with solid timing, pitch, and stage presence.
• Ability to read music or chord charts and adapt to various genres, especially contemporary and experimental styles.
• Experience with songwriting, arrangement, and basic music theory to support creative collaboration.
• Familiarity with studio recording processes, rehearsal etiquette, and working with sound engineers and producers.
• Reliable, professional work habits, including punctuality, openness to feedback, and comfort performing in front of audiences.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with band members and production teams.
• Prior experience in live performance or recorded projects is preferred but not strictly required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on rehearsal and show schedules.
