About the Role

Join the SiGe team designing Driver and TIA for coherent long-haul and metro systems, as well as PAM4 data center systems, primarily using SiGe BiCMOS. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that addresses the growing demands of data transmission in modern data centers, telecom networks, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Driver and TIA for coherent long-haul and metro systems, and PAM4 data center systems.
  • Perform detailed transistor-level design and device physics analysis.
  • Design low noise / high linear (>50GHz) broadband analog circuits for optical front-end.
  • Design high-precision analog circuits (e.g., linear regulators, bandgaps, DAC/ADC).
  • Utilize EDA CAD tools.
  • Perform custom analog layout.
  • Conduct 3D EM modeling.
  • Measure IC performance.
  • Debug designs to correlate simulations to measurements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • SiGe BiCMOS
  • EDA CAD tools
  • Custom analog layout
  • 3D EM modeling

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Solid State Physics
  • Relevant experience from Research, Academia or Industry – across allied industries.
  • Deep understanding of detailed transistor-level design, device physics.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following:
  • Low noise / high linear (>50GHz) broadband analog circuits for optical front-end
  • High-precision analog circuits (e.g., linear regulators, bandgaps, DAC/ADC)
