About the Role
The Software Engineering Intern role at JobBricks is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The intern will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software components that support JobBricks’ platform and internal tools. This role offers hands-on experience in building scalable solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing clean, efficient code.
- Collaborating with senior engineers on back-end web development projects.
- Participating in code reviews.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Documenting features.
- Contributing to improving system performance and reliability.
- Learning best practices in software engineering and agile development.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in practical projects.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic collaborative development workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Prior internship or project experience is a plus.
