FULL STACK DEVELOPER INTERN

About the Role

This internship places you on the core engineering team at Medinex Workforce. You will build dynamic interfaces with React, develop backend services using Node.js and Express, design NoSQL data schemas in MongoDB, and connect the entire stack end-to-end, learning how production full-stack teams design, build, and deploy scalable web products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, reusable UI components and manage client-side state using React
• Develop, secure, and maintain RESTful API endpoints using Node.js and Express
• Model document schemas, manage relationships, and write efficient database queries using MongoDB and Mongoose
• Integrate client-side applications with backend endpoints, handling data fetching, loading states, and error responses
• Implement token-based authentication (JWT) and role-based route protection across both frontend and backend layers
• Test API contracts using Postman and write automated unit tests for critical business logic
• Track code changes, manage feature branches, and submit pull requests using Git and GitHub
• Share progress in a short daily check-in and participate in weekly sprint reviews

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hands-on familiarity with JavaScript/ES6+, React, Node.js, and Express
• Understanding of NoSQL database concepts and basic CRUD operations in MongoDB
• Solid grasp of client-server communication, HTTP status codes, RESTful conventions, and JSON
• Logical problem-solving habits and a methodical mindset when debugging full-stack issues
• Clear written English for code documentation and sprint updates
• A laptop and a stable internet connection
• Helpful but not required: Familiarity with TypeScript, Next.js, or modern state management libraries
• Helpful but not required: Basic experience with Docker containerization or cloud deployment platforms
• Helpful but not required: Knowledge of Tailwind CSS or UI component libraries (e.g., Shadcn UI, MUI)
• Helpful but not required: An active GitHub profile showcasing full-stack MERN projects

Qualifications

• Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, or related technical disciplines
• Self-taught developers who have built and deployed full-stack web applications
• Freshers seeking production-level full-stack development experience
• Candidates available to commit full-time for the duration of the internship

Work Schedule
