Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the Role

FDE School is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru. This position focuses on designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions for practical, real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions for practical, real-world applications.
• Build and train models in areas such as pattern recognition, neural networks, and natural language processing.
• Integrate AI models into production-grade software systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand problem statements, define requirements, and design scalable AI-driven solutions.
• Perform data exploration, model experimentation, and performance optimization.
• Conduct system integration.
• Document workflows and best practices.
• Support learners and internal teams by sharing AI engineering expertise.
• Contribute to project reviews and help refine technical standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with modern AI/ML tools and frameworks, including:
• Python
• PyTorch
• TensorFlow
• scikit-learn
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is an advantage.
• Experience with APIs is an advantage.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with core AI domains such as Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, with the ability to design, train, and evaluate models.
• Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text preprocessing, model building, and evaluation for language-based tasks.
• Ability to work with real-world datasets, perform data cleaning and feature engineering, and deploy models into production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Stakeholder communication abilities.
• Experience working in cross-functional or client-facing teams.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
