Junior Category Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Track stock levels, analyze sales trends, forecast demand, plan replenishment, and prevent stockouts and deadstock.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for sourcing, purchase orders, pricing, production schedules, and timely deliveries.
• Production Planning: Monitor manufacturing timelines, quality checks, and product readiness to ensure inventory arrives on schedule.
• Logistics & Fulfillment: Coordinate with warehouses and logistics partners to ensure timely inventory movement, dispatches, and order fulfillment.
• Category Performance: Monitor product-wise and size-wise sales, inventory turnover, sell-through rates, and category profitability.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with design, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth product launches and availability.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience or relevant internships in D2C, fashion, apparel, e-commerce, or retail operations.
• Basic understanding of inventory, supply chain, and vendor coordination.
• Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and operational data.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and attention to detail.
• Strong learning aptitude, analytical mindset, and willingness to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
