About the Role
The Junior Merchandiser role at Globus is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in planning and selecting product ranges.
- Tracking inventory levels.
- Ensuring merchandise is aligned with current fashion trends and customer preferences.
- Supporting the senior merchandising team with data analysis, sales reports, and seasonal planning.
- Coordinating with store teams to gather feedback on product performance.
- Monitoring stock movement.
- Supporting visual merchandising guidelines.
- Working closely with buying and marketing teams.
- Helping to ensure that the right products are available in the right quantities at the right time.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
- Strong organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
- Experience or interest in Sales and Retail.
- Basic knowledge of Marketing concepts.
- Interest in fashion trends.
- Good numerical aptitude.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Retail Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Internship or prior experience in fashion retail is an advantage.
