About the Role

NextGenApply.AI is seeking a Video Editor Intern to gain hands-on experience creating social media content. This role involves working with the content and marketing team to produce engaging videos for platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn, transforming raw footage and ideas into publishable content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short videos, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Add captions, music, sound effects, transitions, and basic animations.
• Transform raw footage into engaging, publish-ready videos.
• Create videos on topics including AI tools, job search, resumes, interviews, and career growth.
• Collaborate with the content team to understand video concepts and requirements.
• Implement video revisions based on feedback.
• Stay updated on social media trends and explore new editing styles.
• Resize and adapt videos for various platforms.
• Organize video files and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Fluency in Telugu is required for specific video content.
• Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
• Interest in creating short-form video content for social media.
• Basic understanding of cuts, transitions, captions, and audio syncing.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Personal laptop and reliable internet connection.
• Experience editing Reels, Shorts, or other social media videos.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, or sound design.
• Familiarity with Canva or AI-powered editing tools.
• Understanding of current social media trends.
• Previous editing projects or a portfolio to showcase work.
