This information supports the creation of accurate quotes and order documents for customer transactions, including extensions, renewals, expansions, migrations, terminations, and amendments. The team plays an important role in enabling efficient, accurate transaction processing and supporting operational improvements across related business functions.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Automation & Operations Specialist to drive business process improvements, develop practical automation solutions, and support transaction processing and operational initiatives within Oracle Health's Customer Entitlement Services team. The role combines hands-on automation development, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution. The successful candidate will independently identify improvement opportunities, translate business requirements into actionable solutions, and build basic to moderately complex automations using approved robotic process automation (RPA), AI, AI-agent, and low-code/no-code platforms. This position requires strong analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage initiatives from problem identification through implementation, adoption, and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive process improvement initiatives: Independently manage improvement projects from problem definition, process analysis, and solution design through implementation, adoption, and benefits tracking.
  • Develop business automation solutions: Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain basic to moderately complex automations using approved RPA, AI, AI-agent, and low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Translate business needs into solutions: Lead stakeholder discussions, gather and document requirements, evaluate alternatives, and translate operational challenges into practical, maintainable solutions.
  • Support transaction operations: Execute and monitor assigned customer entitlement and transaction activities, investigate exceptions, and ensure accurate, timely completion.
  • Troubleshoot and improve processes: Identify recurring issues, investigate operational and automation failures, perform initial troubleshooting, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects: Support strategic and operational initiatives by managing assigned workstreams, tracking milestones, coordinating stakeholders, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Ensure solution quality and governance: Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), output validation, rollout, and ongoing maintenance while following data privacy, access control, and responsible AI practices.
  • Deliver measurable operational improvements: Analyze process performance, identify automation opportunities, maintain operating procedures and reporting, and track improvements in efficiency, accuracy, quality, and user experience.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience delivering business process improvement, operational transformation, or automation initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience using at least one business-user-accessible automation or AI platform, such as RPA, AI, or low-code/no-code technology.
  • Ability to independently manage defined projects or workstreams involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process understanding, and translating needs into practical solutions.
  • Ability to design, build, test, and validate basic to moderately complex automation solutions.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including working with ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Effective stakeholder facilitation, communication, and influencing skills without formal authority.
  • Ability to manage operational activities, investigate exceptions, prioritize competing tasks, and follow through to resolution.
  • Working understanding of data privacy, access controls, responsible AI use, and solution governance.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, reporting, and process documentation.

Good-to-Have — Differentiators

  • Experience working across multiple business functions and understanding process or system dependencies.
  • Exposure to strategic or complex initiatives requiring evaluation of alternative solutions.
  • Experience supporting UAT, rollout, user adoption, and benefits tracking.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and learning agility across business functions and emerging technologies.
