About the Role
The Asset Servicing Associate Analyst is a developing professional role focused on monitoring and assessing processes and data by applying specialty knowledge. This role requires integrating disciplinary knowledge within its specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices and how the team interacts with others.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reconciling and processing positions related to Corporate Action events.
- Execute revisions of communications, notifications, and facilitate postings for Corporate Action or Proxy events.
- Ensure client instructions are executed efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner within established guidelines.
- Reconcile, pay, and manage all aspects of income collections and disbursements.
- Meet high-quality service standards by researching and responding to inquiries appropriately, conscientiously, and in a timely manner.
- Perform analysis on issues to identify root causes.
- Participate in activities related to compliance with procedures and controls.
- Assist and provide coverage for team members during periods of high work volume, and perform other job duties as assigned.
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation, and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and managing/reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- MS Office proficiency.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Income collections security services.
- Basic understanding of underlying cash flows, accounting treatments, operational controls, credit risks, and market practices.
- Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments, including: Equity securities, Fixed Income, and Asset Backed securities.
- Proven success as a team player.
Education
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
