About the Role
CS Ventures Official is an angel investment fund focused on supporting innovative projects led by emerging entrepreneurs. The firm provides early-stage funding, mentorship, and strategic guidance. The Investment Analyst Intern will support the investment team in sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring early-stage startups and venture opportunities. This is an on-site role based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with market research.
- Assist with financial analysis.
- Assist with due diligence.
- Assist with preparation of investment memos and presentations.
- Build and maintain financial models.
- Analyze business plans.
- Track portfolio performance.
- Prepare reports for internal discussions.
- Collaborate with team members to assess market trends.
- Attend meetings with entrepreneurs.
- Contribute to investment recommendations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation tools.
Qualifications
- Strong finance and investments skills, including familiarity with early-stage funding and venture capital concepts.
- Robust analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities.
- Foundational portfolio management and monitoring skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Quantitative aptitude.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Prior internship or project experience in investing or consulting is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to maintain professional integrity and confidentiality.
