ONE Simulation is an innovative healthcare simulation company focused on developing advanced, realistic, and technology-driven training solutions for healthcare professionals. We combine technologies, software, and simulation platforms to deliver immersive learning experiences. We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to support our cloud infrastructure, website deployments, application hosting, security, and day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS & Azure)

• Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS and Microsoft Azure.

• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront, and RDS.

• Support Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage, and Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID).

• Monitor cloud resource utilization, availability, and basic cost optimization.

• Assist with cloud backups, access management, and infrastructure troubleshooting.

• Website & Application Deployment

• Deploy, host, and maintain company websites and web applications on cloud servers.

• Manage domain configurations, DNS records, SSL certificates, and web hosting environments.

• Support website migrations, application updates, and production deployments.

• Configure and maintain web servers such as Nginx and Apache.

• Troubleshoot website downtime, deployment failures, and server-related issues.

• Web Security & Infrastructure Protection

• Implement basic website security measures, including HTTPS, SSL/TLS, firewall rules, and secure access controls.

• Monitor website vulnerabilities, suspicious activity, and server security alerts.

• Assist with AWS Security Groups, IAM policies, and Azure security configurations.

• Perform regular software updates, security patching, and backup verification.

• Support implementation of web application firewalls (WAF), basic DDoS protection, and secure deployment practices.

• CI/CD & DevOps Automation

• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

• Support automated application builds, testing, and deployment workflows.

• Work with Git and GitHub for version control and code deployment.

• Gain hands-on exposure to Docker, containerization, and basic infrastructure automation.

• Create basic shell scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks.

• Monitoring, Maintenance & Technical Support

• Monitor server health, uptime, application performance, and infrastructure alerts.

• Troubleshoot Linux server issues, application deployment errors, and connectivity problems.

• Maintain documentation for deployment procedures, server configurations, and access controls.

• Coordinate with software development teams to ensure smooth application releases.

• Support disaster recovery, data backups, and infrastructure maintenance activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; equivalent technical qualifications may also be considered.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience only. Freshers with practical project experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with website hosting, deployment, DNS, domain management, and SSL certificates.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and server administration.
• Understanding of web security fundamentals, firewalls, HTTPS, and access management.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and basic CI/CD concepts.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, and ports.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to Docker and containerized applications.
• Basic understanding of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of WordPress hosting, React/Node.js deployments, or Python-based web applications.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or equivalent entry-level certification.
• Exposure to basic vulnerability scanning and website performance optimization.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically curious, and hands-on engineer who:

• Has 0–2 years of professional experience, including fresh graduates.
• Has practical exposure to deploying websites or applications, through internships, academic projects, or professional assignments.
• Understands the fundamentals of AWS, Azure, and web infrastructure.
• Is interested in cloud computing, automation, cybersecurity, and DevOps practices.
• Can independently investigate basic technical issues and is willing to learn new technologies.
• Can collaborate effectively with developers and other technical teams.
