Founding Field Ops Associate

About the Role

Robotics Data AI is building the data infrastructure to train India's humanoid robots and physical AI systems, starting in Ludhiana's factories. You will be one of the first people on the ground, running operations that directly feed into what robots learn. You'll work directly under the Field Ops Lead, owning execution across factory and commercial sites: device handling, site coordination, scheduling, troubleshooting, and ensuring data is collected, delivered, and used.

Key Responsibilities

• Run daily data collection operations across industrial and commercial sites in Ludhiana.
• Operate and maintain cutting-edge data capture devices, including company-owned and customer hardware.
• Represent Robotics Data on the ground with factory and site partners.
• Track and report progress that directly feeds project delivery and revenue.
• Travel locally and occasionally beyond Ludhiana as the company scales.
• Identify and solve problems proactively.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience.
• Accountable: owns outcomes without needing constant direction.
• Genuinely flexible with travel.
• Thrives in unstructured, on-ground environments.
• Mature enough to represent the company independently with customers and factory partners.
• Bonus: Comfortable with tech/devices AND good with people.
• Open to engineering, psychology, or any background.

Engagement Structure

• Employment Type: Contract (3–6 months, depending on profile), with a strong expectation of full-time conversion within 6 months.
• This is a genuine starting point for the team being built in Ludhiana.
