Role Overview

As a Global Market Analyst Intern at PipRaisers, you will work closely with the strategy and research team to interpret macroeconomic signals, analyze intermarket dynamics, and identify tradeable global trends. You will develop the mindset and skills of a global strategist through daily market updates and institutional-style research notes.

Key Responsibilities

• Track macroeconomic events, central bank moves, and geopolitical developments (e.g., FOMC, ECB, CPI, GDP, NFP).
• Analyze inter-asset relationships, such as USD vs. Gold, Oil, Crypto, and Risk-on/Risk-off sentiment shifts.
• Contribute to daily/weekly market outlooks, strategy notes, and trading calendars.
• Perform sentiment tracking using heatmaps, positioning data, and risk metrics.
• Research major FX pairs, commodity contracts, and crypto pairs from a macro perspective.
• Assist in backtesting macro-based trade ideas using historical data.
• Build concise, data-rich presentation decks and visual summaries for team briefings and client insights.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with TradingView, economic calendars, Investing.com, or Bloomberg tools.
• Skill in transforming complex data into simplified actionable analysis.

Qualifications

• Students or graduates in Finance, Economics, International Business, or MBA (Finance).
• Passion for global macroeconomics, central bank policy, and cross-asset trading.
• Strong grasp of economic data, market narratives, and trend interpretation.
• Knowledge of FX, commodities, and crypto instruments is highly preferred.
