- Business Model: B2B wholesale and retail supply, focusing on garages, mechanics, engine-repair workshops, and spare-parts dealers outside Kolkata.
- Objective: Build a network of repeat B2B customers across Eastern, North-Eastern, and nearby Indian states. Become a reliable supplier for repair businesses.
- Competitive Focus: Assisting repair businesses in sourcing parts with clear communication on availability, price, condition, delivery, and warranty terms.
Products
- Used engines and engine assemblies (Hyundai, Kia, Maruti Suzuki, Ford, Renault, Nissan, Honda, and others based on stock).
- Engine overhaul components (head gaskets, piston rings, engine bearings, cylinder heads, engine blocks, pistons, crankshafts).
- Gearboxes (used automatic and manual, for selected vehicle makes and models based on stock).
- Other automotive parts (suspension components, sensors, throttle bodies, intake/exhaust manifolds, ECM kits, rear axles, and other selected components).
- Note: Actual availability must be confirmed before quoting a customer.
Target Customers
- Highest Priority:
- Independent garages servicing multiple car brands.
- Engine-repair and engine-overhaul workshops.
- Mechanics specializing in Hyundai, Ford, Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, Kia, and compatible makes.
- Used-engine and gearbox specialists.
- Automotive spare-parts wholesalers and retailers.
- Lower Priority:
- General car dealerships without parts-purchasing requirements.
- Car washes and detailing shops.
- Tyre shops not handling engine/mechanical repairs.
- Individual car owners requiring occasional repairs.
- Prioritize businesses performing engine repairs, mechanical work, or spare-parts sales.
Geographic Target Markets
- Customers must be located outside Kolkata.
- Priority Areas: West Bengal (outside Kolkata), Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram.
- Other nearby markets may be explored if transport is commercially viable.
- Check destination, transport availability, freight charges, transit time, and customer preference before confirming an order.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation:
- Find at least 100 relevant new business leads per month.
- Working target of five qualified prospects per working day.
- Sources: Google Maps, Google Business Profiles, Justdial, business directories, public business listings, relevant public business pages/websites.
- Do not invent businesses or submit duplicate listings.
- Lead Verification: Collect publicly available information for each lead:
- Business name
- City and state
- Business category
- Owner's or business contact number
- WhatsApp availability (if indicated/verified)
- Google Maps or directory listing link
- Main vehicle makes serviced
- Evidence of engine/gearbox repair or spare-parts sales
- Date contacted
- Response status and follow-up date
- Mark missing details as "unknown."
- WhatsApp Outreach: Use the authorized East India Motors WhatsApp Business account:
- Identify suitable garages, workshops, or parts dealers.
- Verify location (outside Kolkata) and relevance.
- Send a personalized introduction.
- Share relevant catalogue items (not the entire catalogue).
- Inquire about commonly needed vehicle makes, models, or parts.
- Record responses and follow up politely.
- Pass serious enquiries to the owner for price, stock, and order confirmation.
- Use only approved business messaging. Do not buy private contact databases, spam, misrepresent the business, or message those who request to stop.
- Sales Support: When a prospect asks about a product:

Lead Tracking System
- Maintain a Google Sheet with columns: Lead ID, Business name, City, State, Business type, Phone number, Public listing URL, Vehicle makes serviced, Date contacted, Reply received (yes/no), Follow-up date, Notes.
- Use lead statuses: New lead, Verified, Contacted, Replied, Interested, Product requirement received, Stock and price being checked, Quotation sent, Order confirmed, Payment/order pending, Sale completed, Follow-up later, Not interested, Invalid or duplicate.
