Management Trainee, Travel Operations

About the Role

• Kickstart your career in Travel & Tourism with hands-on experience in operations at Rustik Travel.
• Learn the behind-the-scenes processes of designing and executing well-planned, successful experiential travel experiences.
• Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update a database of hotels, guides, partners, and transporters for important tourist centers.
• Create client itineraries.
• Determine travel costs by negotiating with partners and confirming itineraries.
• Maintain client communication during journeys and manage trip execution.
• Conceptualize and design new itineraries.
• Develop itineraries for group activities such as trips, treks, and walking tours.
• Send communications to groups and follow up.
• Create and execute marketing campaigns for trips and travel experiences.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity and hands-on knowledge of social media marketing platforms, tools, and trends (e.g., AI).
• Design and copywriting skills:
• Familiarity with design tools like Canva, and/or video/audio editing software is preferable.
• Writing copy for campaigns and social media posts.
• Familiarity with email and database marketing concepts and tools.
• Analytical skills to report and analyze marketing campaigns and related data.
• Flexibility and the attitude to go beyond the brief and learn new skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Hardworking and sincere.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate with a Degree/Diploma in Tourism/Travel Management from an approved University (including deemed universities, IITTM, institutions approved by AICTE) or a Basic Certificate holder of IITFC.
• Someone who likes to travel and is looking to build a career in the industry and grow with Rustik Travel.

Desirable

• Certification (and experience) in Airline & Travel Global Distribution Systems (GDS) (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or IATA courses).
