About the Role

Scuzi is a contemporary café concept focusing on quality beverages, fresh food, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. This full-time Barista role is an on-site position based in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, coffees, teas, and other beverages according to café standards.
• Handle basic food preparation, such as sandwiches and light snacks.
• Take and process customer orders.
• Operate the POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock supplies.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
• Answer questions about the menu.
• Ensure guests have a positive experience.
• Follow hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Support opening and closing procedures.
• Collaborate with team members during busy periods.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and peak hours.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic POS or cash-handling skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, and Communication.
• Hands-on Barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and beverage presentation.
• Basic Food Preparation skills, with attention to hygiene, safety, and consistency.
• Willingness to learn is essential.
• Reliable time management.
• Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
