About the Role
The SEO Intern will support Stratzy's organic search growth by conducting keyword research, assisting with on-page SEO and content optimization, analyzing search performance, and identifying opportunities to improve organic traffic and search rankings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms, topics, and content opportunities.
- Assist with on-page SEO activities, including optimization of titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and content.
- Support content optimization to improve relevance, search visibility, and user experience.
- Research competitors and analyze their SEO strategies to identify potential opportunities.
- Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, and other basic SEO performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve search rankings and increase organic traffic.
- Assist in implementing SEO recommendations across relevant website pages and content.
- Stay updated on SEO trends, search engine updates, and best practices.
- Coordinate with content and internal teams to ensure SEO requirements are incorporated into content.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong interest in SEO, digital marketing, and organic search.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts such as keyword research, on-page SEO, and content optimization.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines.
- Ability to understand search intent and identify relevant content opportunities.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar tools is a plus.
- Prior internship, academic project, or experience in SEO or digital marketing is a plus.
