About the Role
This role involves overseeing day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and compliance, including cost accounting, budget accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and billing/invoicing. The position is within an administrative stream that supports operations through skilled technical, administrative, or operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and in compliance with regulations, accounting principals, and standards.
- Manage cost accounting, including allocating and analyzing direct and indirect costs, and performing actual vs. budgeted cost variance analysis.
- Handle budget accounting, including developing and monitoring annual revenue/expense budgets.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Oversee billing and invoicing processes.
- Execute specialized work to support operations.
- Work on tasks of limited scope and complexity.
- Exercise independent judgment within defined boundaries and guidelines, typically under supervision.
- Apply standards and make departures from established processes to resolve problems.
