About the Role

As a Consultant, you will help the team deliver and contribute to profitable growth by ensuring client engagements are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client engagements in a professional manner, in accordance with client expectations and contract terms.
• Preparation and filing of individual tax returns.
• Preparation and filing of e-TDS returns.
• Drafting of submissions before tax authorities.
• Representation before tax authorities.
• Advising on outbound/inbound structuring in connection with employee movement.
• Working knowledge of immigration and provident fund in connection with expatriates.
• Participate in executing work within a group by delivering work effectively.
• Team with tax professionals to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
• Ensure assigned work is executed in accordance with the work program, firm methodologies, guidance, and professional standards.
• Use electronic working papers and various software applications efficiently for research.
• Acquire and demonstrate competence in technical knowledge and compliance processes by staying updated on trends, developments, and technical authorities.
• Analyze and convert data into a tax product (advisory/compliance), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Where applicable, thoroughly check documents and make them available for tax inspections.
• Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude, maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and work products.
• Contribute to team success by developing a thorough understanding of methodologies and tools, keeping team members informed of work status, and actively seeking assignments.
• Proactively seek opportunities to provide tax services and challenge traditional procedures by finding new approaches.
