About the Role
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to support our business in office and in the field. This role will report to the Enterprise Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support that meets the high expectations of field and business users.
- Develop and maintain knowledge articles for helpdesk and Level 1 teams.
- Determine the best course of action for users based on troubleshooting.
- Determine hardware specifications needed for clients while developing client solutions.
- Prioritize and maintain issues in ServiceNow for supported staff.
- Analyze software use cases to determine hardware needs.
- Develop, test, revise, and document fixes for problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a better experience for the end user.
- Act and present yourself as extremely professional.
- Develop processes with new and existing technology.
- Test hardware configurations.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for unique technologies and segments.
- Accountable for operational tasks within all aspects of the IT space.
- Document, test, and deploy new hardware/software solutions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Visio.
- IT Networks.
- Audio/Video rooms.
- IT Applications.
- Computer-related AV applications, systems, and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Flexibility to work occasionally outside business hours for support or maintenance.
- Experience responding with professionalism in stressful, urgent situations.
- Technical understanding of IT networks, Audio/Video rooms, and IT applications.
- Proficient and/or thorough understanding of computer-related AV applications, systems, and tools.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Impeccable confidentiality, attention to detail, and self-organization.
- Self-directed and motivated with a positive and willing attitude.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues while communicating with peers and users.
