About the Role

As a Supervising Associate - Data Delivery & Operations, you will help shape the future of enterprise data, analytics and AI solutions. Working alongside talented engineering teams and business stakeholders, you will design, build, and support modern data platforms, advanced analytics capabilities, and AI-powered solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to work hands-on with emerging AI technologies, including the development and deployment of intelligent agents, generative AI solutions, and cloud-based platforms. You will collaborate directly with internal teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while helping advance EY's AI and data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and coordinate assigned technical work across the design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of enterprise data solutions.
  • Manage defined technical deliverables and workstreams, escalating risks, dependencies, and decisions to the Assistant Director when required.
  • Investigate technical and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate fixes with development, testing, and business teams.
  • Review code, configurations, data models, data pipelines, business logic, and technical documentation for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established standards.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into clear technical tasks, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
  • Support quality-assurance and user-acceptance testing, including test-case preparation, defect investigation, resolution tracking, and validation of completed fixes.
  • Produce and maintain technical specifications, process documentation, operating procedures, support guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Provide day-to-day technical guidance, share leading practices, support less-experienced colleagues, and promote consistent development, testing, and documentation standards.
  • Support onshore and offshore transitions through structured knowledge transfer, technical and operational handovers, dependency tracking, and post-transition stabilization.
  • Coordinate across geographies and time zones to ensure technical issues are assigned, tracked, and resolved.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Strong data-engineering knowledge across data ingestion and integration, transformation and orchestration, data modelling, data quality and reconciliation, testing and validation, monitoring, issue management, deployment, and production support.
  • Ability to review technical designs and work products, identify issues, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance while operating effectively as an individual contributor.
  • Collaborative approach, with a willingness to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, resolve issues, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Sound judgment in identifying matters that require architectural, strategic, or stakeholder decisions and escalating them promptly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams while maintaining clear ownership, communication, and follow-through.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technology-related discipline, such as Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, or another quantitative field with a significant computing component.
  • 2-5 years of progressive professional experience in data engineering, data platforms, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or related technology-delivery roles.
  • Hands-on experience developing or supporting data and analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric, with experience in at least one of these platforms required.
  • Experience building, maintaining, or troubleshooting data pipelines and integrations across multiple systems and data sources.
  • Experience supporting the design, development, testing, deployment, and production operation of enterprise data solutions.
  • Experience independently managing defined technical deliverables or workstreams.
  • Experience investigating technical issues, performing root-cause analysis, and coordinating fixes.
  • Experience reviewing technical outputs, data pipelines, business logic, and supporting documentation.
  • Experience supporting testing activities and maintaining technical and operational documentation.
  • Experience supporting onshore/offshore transitions, knowledge transfer, handovers, and stabilization.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry.
  • Experience designing, creating, configuring, or supporting AI and data agents using Databricks Genie, Microsoft Fabric Data Agents, or comparable agent-based technologies.
  • Experience implementing generative AI, natural-language analytics, conversational data experiences, or AI-enabled business insights.
  • Experience with Power BI, semantic models, DAX, Power Query, or related Microsoft analytics technologies.
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric certifications.
