About the Role
At Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, the Supply Chain team delivers innovative, affordable, and agile solutions. This role enables customers to achieve the impossible by leveraging problem-solving, creativity, and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops a global sourcing strategy for commodities (categories).
- Defines project scope and facilitates execution, identifying savings opportunities.
- Works with cross-functional teams to analyze supply base risks & opportunities, identify new sources of supply, and meet business requirements.
- Negotiates and manages contracts and relationships with suppliers to drive innovative strategies.
- Implements policies and metrics to ensure savings goals and performance requirements are realized.
- Acts as the main focal point for all matters pertaining to the given category.
- Responsible for the quality and performance of supplier products.
- Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's degree
- Supply Chain, Supply Chain Integration, or Logistics experience
- Experience with subcontract cost, quality, schedule, and/or technical program performance
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced team with a proven ability to focus on team members
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement and ability to implement change and drive efficiency
- Attract, develop, and retain subcontract management talent
- Background and knowledge of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 procurements
- Demonstrated negotiations experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
- Background and knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
- Experience in delivery execution
- Strong SAP knowledge/background and experience
- Must be able to travel, as required
- Experience in mitigating risk and driving poor performing suppliers to improvement

Pay Information
- Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00
