About the Role
This is a Software Developer Intern position with Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, as part of the Peterbilt Application Development team in Denton, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and improve applications used across Manufacturing, Robotics, Engineering, and Materials.
- Work with the development team using Agile practices.
- Assist with software upgrades, security fixes, and deployment automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Attend daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions.
- Work closely with senior developers and mentors.
- Document code, processes, and technical specifications.
- Update internal knowledge bases.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related field (e.g., Software Development, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.), or a related program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills.
- Familiarity with .NET and C#.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Exposure to web development frameworks.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Self-starter and Resourceful.
- Strong Professionalism.
- Analytical.
- Experience with AI tools.
