About the Role

Aditi Lawate Design is a design studio focused on creating thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically balanced interior spaces and architecture. Collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail are central to the studio’s approach. The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing drawings, and coordinating project details from initial brief through execution.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with space planning.
• Preparing presentations and mood boards.
• Updating design documentation.
• Supporting the selection of materials and finishes.
• Coordinating with vendors and contractors.
• Conducting site visits.
• Helping ensure that designs are implemented according to specifications and timelines.

Qualifications & Tech Stack

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Strong foundation in Interior Design or Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into practical design solutions.
• Proficiency in Space Planning, including furniture layouts and circulation planning for residential and/or commercial interiors.
• Ability to prepare and interpret Working Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and sections.
• Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and basic presentation tools (Canva, Google Sheets).
• Strong visual and spatial awareness.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow design guidelines and standards.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced studio environment.
