About the Role
Social Angel is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to support our creative team in editing digital content. During this internship, you'll learn professional editing workflows, assist in video production, and gain hands-on experience working on real projects under the guidance of experienced editors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
- Support the editing of long-form video content.
- Assist in pre-production by organizing media assets and preparing editing resources.
- Support post-production tasks such as trimming, adding captions, transitions, basic audio enhancement, and color correction.
- Assist in editing testimonial videos and other digital content.
- Support AI-assisted editing workflows.
- Assist with camera handling and basic video shooting for in-house content, interviews, testimonials, and social media videos.
- Support camera setup, framing, basic camera settings, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots.
- Assist the creative team in setting up and managing camera and shooting equipment before and during production.
- Assist during in-house shoots with setup, equipment, and overall production support.
- Organize and maintain video files, footage, and other media assets.
- Collaborate with the creative team to deliver high-quality content within timelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).
- Basic understanding of camera handling, video shooting, framing, and composition.
- Familiarity with basic lighting and audio equipment will be an advantage.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative environment.
