Graduate Intern, D&T, Validation & Testing
About the Role
We are seeking a Graduate Intern to join our dynamic team. This role provides the opportunity for exposure to fundamental principles and concepts in application development and enhancement. The ideal candidate will have good programming skills and will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Test Automation Architects and assist in Framework development and Implementation using Python, Pytest, Azure Devops, and Robot Framework.
- With guidance, write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code that meets design specifications and adheres to coding standards.
- Assist in developing and maintaining software documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code is tested thoroughly and meets quality standards.
- Support troubleshooting and debugging of software issues to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Basic programming ability in Python.
- Minimum of 0-1 year of experience in programming.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
- Exposure in software development and software testing life cycle as well as the business approach for the product.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL Server.
- Basic understanding of Microfocus ALM, UFT (Testing Tool), and VBScript.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other developers, functional teams, and project managers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical, Decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a team as well as an individual.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines.
Shift
- Occasional on-call work required.
- Prefer 12pm – 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
