Entry-Level Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant

About the Role

Carvana is hiring for entry-level automotive roles. In these positions, you will contribute to ensuring vehicles are ready for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Detailing vehicles, including washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing.
• Moving vehicles between departments within Inspection Centers.
• Taking photos of vehicles for the Carvana website.
• Inspecting the interior and exterior of vehicles to identify imperfections or defects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Some positions may be subject to an MVR check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
• Ability to work while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Ability to use safety equipment including, but not limited to, face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Additional Information

• Starting pay: $17/hr.
• Schedule: All locations are subject to mandatory overtime based on business need.
• First shift: Mon-Fri 6am-3pm.
• Location: 11600 Fruehauf Dr, Charlotte, NC 28273.
• Training programs are offered for entry-level positions.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
