About the Role
The Summer Games is an innovative internship program designed to develop breakthrough ideas and solutions for complex customer problems while building technical skills. Interns work in teams, simulating a startup accelerator environment, tackling different challenge projects. The program includes mentorship from senior leaders, problem-solving using Booz Allen’s products and engagement models, and collaboration. The summer culminates in a final Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop breakthrough ideas or solutions for customer challenges.
- Solve problems using Booz Allen’s products and unique engagement models.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Present solutions to senior leadership.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
- Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
- Knowledge of structured and unstructured data sources.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Winter or Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
Nice to Have
- Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Clearance
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Compensation
- Projected compensation range: $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
Work Model
- Onsite: Work will primarily be performed full-time at a customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
- Note: For roles listed as remote or hybrid, there may still be occasions requiring in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
