About the Role
The Junior Interior Designer internship at Loftsify is an on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves supporting senior designers with space planning, concept development, and interior layouts for residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting senior designers with space planning, concept development, and interior layouts for residential projects.
- Assisting in preparing construction drawings.
- Selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment).
- Creating mood boards and presentations.
- Conducting site visits and taking measurements.
- Coordinating with vendors.
- Updating project documentation.
- Collaborating with the design team to ensure each home reflects the client’s story, lifestyle, and functional needs.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture.
- Ability to translate concepts into functional spaces.
- Skills in Space Planning and layout development for residential interiors.
- Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings and basic technical documentation.
- Competence in FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a studio environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
