About the Role

Only What's Needed by Food Pharmer is seeking a Content & Culture Intern to help transform facts, ideas, and observations into engaging content. This role is at the intersection of storytelling, research, social media, and internet culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Research topics, identify insights, and discover compelling stories.
• Generate content ideas for platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Write scripts, hooks, captions, and copy to drive engagement.
• Monitor internet culture, emerging trends, creators, formats, and conversations.
• Simplify complex information into accessible and engaging content.
• Track content performance to understand effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the content team to develop ideas from conception to completion.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Recent graduate or final-year college student.
• Basic understanding of content and social media platforms.
• Strong writing skills and clear communication abilities.
• Curiosity for research and finding interesting angles in everyday topics.
• Instinct for creating engaging, relevant, and shareable content.
• Ability to think creatively while working with facts.
• Willingness to experiment, learn quickly, and accept feedback.
• Comfortable being "chronically online" and applying that knowledge effectively.
• Ability to analyze why certain content is effective.
• Inclined to ask questions and challenge assumptions.
• Belief that strong content originates from a well-developed thought.
• Aptitude for simplifying complex subjects without oversimplifying.
• Enthusiasm for building, experimenting, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Ideally, some prior internship experience.
• Nice to have: Experience writing social media content, scripts, blogs, or other digital content.
• Nice to have: A portfolio of relevant projects or created content.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with basic content analytics and social media performance metrics.
• Nice to have: An interest in health, nutrition, fitness, consumer behaviour, or decision-making.
• Nice to have: Ability to identify trends discerningly.
