About the Role
Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee responsible for performing laboratory testing, operating instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability.
- Execute routine and complex laboratory procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment.
- Perform quality control and maintenance.
- Prepare reagents or controls.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
- Proficiency with computers and lab information systems.
- Ability to pass a color blindness test.
- Capacity to work varied shifts, including evenings and Saturdays.
Preferred certifications include ASCP or AMT.
Over 3 months of clinical testing experience is advantageous.
Full training is provided for new graduates.
