About the Role
CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking Assurance Associates to join their Spoke Assurance group in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX. The anticipated start date for this role is January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
- Assists in the preparation and submission of Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) Form 5500 filings.
- Provides data ingestion support for audit engagements, including formatting, cleansing, and organizing client data.
- Completes research and special projects as needed.
- Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
- General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
