About the Role
- Actuarial Intern
- Location: Trivandrum (WFO)
- Duration: 6 months
- Availability: Available to join immediately
Key Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of reserving principles and concepts, including the basic chain ladder method.
- Utilize problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Work with numbers and demonstrate a passion for them.
- Collaborate within a team and with senior stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiar with PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate/Graduate /Master's/ Bachelor's in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Passing 1 to 3 actuarial exams is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of basic pricing principles is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
