About Rekise Marine
Rekise Marine is building autonomous ships and submarines that operate in challenging and contested environments. We are executing India’s flagship autonomous submarine project, the Jalkapi XLAUV, for the Indian Navy. Our autonomy stack powers a range of platforms, from unmanned submersibles to surface vessels, across missions from coastal waters to the deep sea. We are creating some of the largest autonomous platforms in the world, with direct impact on national security.
The Role
We are looking for a Program Management Intern to support the ground-level execution of program management across our vessel programs. This role focuses on information, coordination, and verification, enabling the Programme Management Office (PMO) to focus on planning, analysis, and decisions. You will work directly with program managers across live vessel programs, on the shop floor and at trial sites. This is an office-cum-field-facing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, and update program data across trackers, registers, and action logs, escalating missing inputs.
- Act as the communication link on the ground, relaying blockers to the PMO and verifying that work execution matches the plan.
- Support the coordination of trial and event days, logistics, setup, and tracking.
- Carry out physical verification on request: confirming material arrivals, checking stock against records, and documenting setups.
- Support the PMO with information-gathering for reviews and planning.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience; engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong follow-through – the ability to chase open items to closure without being reminded.
- Clear, structured written communication – able to turn a messy verbal update into a short, factual message.
- Comfort with a field-facing role involving travel to trial sites (e.g., Goa).
Preferred Experience
- Internship, project, or campus experience involving coordination across teams (e.g., events, technical fests, student projects).
- Exposure to hardware, manufacturing, or systems-engineering environments.
- Familiarity with basic programme-management concepts.
Why Join Rekise Marine
- A front-row seat on India’s flagship autonomous submarine program, working on the ground across two live vessel programs: MPAUV and Jalkapi XLAUV.
- A real path to a full-time role, with a provision for full-time conversion based on performance.
- Top-quartile internship stipend, with top-quartile compensation on full-time conversion.
