Intern Managed Care Analytics

About the Role

• Location: Remote
• Department: Actuarial and Managed Care Analytics
• Schedule: Full-time, Summer Internship

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in creation of reporting and analytic packages, querying various types of healthcare data.
• Provides research and administrative assistance for special projects as assigned.
• Analyzes reports to measure utilization, cost, and descriptive statistics.
• Reviews information for accuracy and reconciles data.
• Conducts and synthesizes market research and benchmarks.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: None Required.

Qualifications

• Education:
• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
• Additional Preferences:
• Progress towards (or completion of) Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a healthcare-related field is strongly preferred.
• Healthcare industry knowledge, such as managed care and value based care concepts, population health and healthcare economics is strongly preferred.
• Prior internship experience in a healthcare organization is preferred.
