About the Role
PodCraft Labs builds consumer products for live streaming and creators on iOS, Android, and the web. We operate on an AI-first model, integrating AI coding agents like Claude Code into our design, coding, review, testing, and DevOps processes. Engineers guide these agents, verify their output, and are responsible for the final product. We seek individuals who view AI as a tool for enhanced productivity, not as a substitute for understanding the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Build features and fix bugs across the technology stack using AI coding agents, followed by reviewing, testing, and hardening their output.
- Translate product requirements into clear specifications, prompts, and tasks for AI agents.
- Develop and enhance AI workflows, including reusable skills, agent instructions, slash commands, and guard scripts for code standards.
- Work on backend microservices (Go), web applications (Next.js / React / TypeScript), and the Kotlin Multiplatform mobile app (Android + iOS).
- Utilize Firebase (Firestore, Realtime Database, Auth) and Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Eventarc, Cloud Storage).
- Track work in Azure DevOps (user stories, tasks, branches, pull requests, pipelines).
- Assist with code reviews, security-rule testing, and documentation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong programming fundamentals in at least one language: Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT, with an understanding of their strengths and limitations.
- Ability to read, understand, and identify bugs in unfamiliar code, including code generated by AI.
- Working knowledge of Git (branches, pull requests, rebasing).
- Clear written English for precise prompt and specification writing.
- Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Stack:
- Backend: Go
- Web: Next.js / React / TypeScript
- Mobile: Kotlin Multiplatform (Android + iOS)
- Cloud: Firebase (Firestore, Realtime Database, Auth), Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Eventarc, Cloud Storage)
- DevOps: Azure DevOps
Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / BCA or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Final-year students and 2025–2026 graduates are welcome.
Good to Have
- Projects built predominantly with AI agents (please share GitHub links and detail AI usage).
- Experience with Firebase, GCP, or any cloud platform.
- Exposure to Next.js/React, Kotlin Multiplatform / Jetpack Compose, or Go.
- Familiarity with the Claude API, prompt engineering, MCP (Model Context Protocol), or building AI agents.
- Basic understanding of REST/event-driven architecture, NoSQL databases, or CI/CD.
