Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily shop operations, including opening and closing the store.
• Arranging and replenishing stock.
• Ensuring a clean and organized sales area.
• Advising customers on fishing products.
• Processing sales and handling cash and digital payments.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory and purchases.
• Coordinating with suppliers.
• Monitoring stock levels.
• Identifying popular items and seasonal needs.
• Basic maintenance of shop equipment.
• Adhering to local safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Retail operations management, including stocking, merchandising, and basic inventory tracking.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and assist diverse customers in person.
• Basic numerical skills for handling payments, cash reconciliation, and simple record-keeping.
• Willingness to learn about fishing equipment, local fishing practices, and product features.
• Reliability in maintaining regular working hours and managing a full-time on-site schedule in Kolkata.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move stock.
